GATERS GROUP 2012
Welcome to 2012. We have begun our GATE programme this term with some new faces and some old ones. On Friday 27th of April we went to Saxton's Stadium to take part in some team/skill building activities provided by Hayden Bryant. The aim of this session was to work as a team to complete set tasks - a little like a top town competition. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other and to see how we could work together to solve problems or complete tasks.
We had such a great time. Ms. Simpson says we can do something like this every term. Yay!

It is fun being in Gaters with Mrs.Simpson on most fridays. We get time of school work. Being around books is a exciting part of the day for me because I love books. Gaters is taking place in the libary.

GATERS
GATERS is cool. We do all sorts of awesome stuff. Just the other week we made lollies for everyone to try, mine was nearly the most disgusting. I can't think of any other group at school where we can play games that involve eating chocolate with a knife and falk, or where we constantly have to use the word 'padoodle'. I also like designing things like the mouse house activity and a few other activities. GATERS is a great place to go nearly every Friday.

GATERS ROCKS!
I think that Gaters is awesome because we have so much fun in school doing lollie projects and maths. I enjoy having Ms Simpson as a teacher and I have made lots of friends.
